We are seeking your help! My students come to me eager to learn, but many times they are kept from achieving due to a lack of materials, resources and funding available to them. I teach a lively group of 6th graders at a Title I school located in the outskirts of Atlanta, GA.I have a very diverse population of students that come to me each day, and with a population growing increasingly diverse, I am continually seeking ways to reach all of my students. My students come from many walks of life and have many different experiences to share.With your help and support, students for years to come will receive that MATH EXPERIENCE! One Hundred Years from now It will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money was in my bank account nor what my clothes looked like, but the world may be a better place because I was important in the life of a child. excerpt from "Within My Power"
