My students are wonderfully curious, caring kids that love learning though hands on experience! I work with students in grades K-5th. My students have a passion for Title One school that is located in the "flat lands" of the city. That means that there are not many trees, or gardens surround our school. In our city (Oakland,CA) it is really challenging for our students to spend quality time outdoors. Our school garden is a safe place where they can learn about nature, science, and nutrition through hands on experience.
