My students are 4th, 5th and 6th graders who have learning disabilities. They struggle in reading, many reading 3 or more grade levels below their grade, and many also have a very difficult time in math. These students are in the general education classroom for most of the day but come to my classroom for reading, writing and math instruction on their level. It is difficult to keep my students motivated to want to learn.
