My students are energetic sixth graders from a suburb of Indianapolis. By challenging my students to read 40 books throughout the year and by allowing them to read books that they are interested in, my students are developing a passion for reading! Many of them are reading and ENJOYING books for the first time! It's such a magical feeling! My students love mystery and fantasy books! The scarier the better! I love watching them read a book they love and then share it with their classmates.
