My students are six and seven years old, and all have a diagnosis of autism. Our class is a 6:1:1 classroom of eager students who enjoy visual and kinesthetic learning activities. We are a joyful bunch, and all of my students absolutely love books. Given a choice time, students all flock to our class library. They delight in holding books, looking at pictures, and sounding out words.
