I teach Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Language Arts to 40 fourth grade students in an inner city school, most of them on free or reduced lunch. Our school is a low-socioeconomic, Title I school in TX. My students are amazing, enthusiastic and very intelligent; however, some of them are starting the year one or two years below grade level, specially in Reading and Writing.

About my class
