My young scientists are a great group of kids. Some are extremely hardworking, while others require a lot of motivation to become interested and engaged in learning. Most of my students are plugged in technologically. Many of them spend time online playing video games, and surfing the web. It is very common for my students to add to the scientific concepts discussed and discovered in class by quoting something that they read on the web, or describing a clip that they watched on YouTube. They really enjoy the times that I can bring technology into the classroom. It would be amazing if they could use technology on a daily basis. My students are also extremely concerned about the planet's well-being. Some of my students are involved in another project that is geared toward the collection of e-waste and the distribution of refurbished computers to classmates that do not have technology at home. All my students would love to see my classroom go paperless.
