Since Hurricane Katrina, our school demographics have changed drastically in Mississippi coastal cities. Many school wide technology needs are being met but there are individual needs that teachers are having to fund themselves. Our children are very eager to learn and their parents support us the best they can. We have cut our school supply list practically in half to help the parents spend monies where needed. I am approaching my 20th year as a classroom teacher and a lot of my equipment is showing signs of damage.

About my class
