My students are eager, caring second graders. They are always eager to show what they are learning with others. I have 21 students varying in ethnicity. My school is a neighborhood school set in an urban, low socioeconomic area. They have very little access to technology in their homes. My students rarely see any place outside their own city. My students families may struggle, but school for my students is a place to be successful. My students see our school as a family that cares about them and their success.
