I work in an incredibly diverse, low-income community. My community is mostly made up of immigrants who come from all over the world. My students bring a lot into our world history class and I hope to be able to turn the assets they bring into valuable classroom experiences. I hope to learn about the cultures they come from and to help them understand where they come from better as well.
