I teach 24 kindergarteners. This is a new classroom in a Chicago Public School. Faced with large class sizes, the school was forced to open a third kindergarten room. That room is mine. Completely empty and needing some TLC, it is now a safe, inviting learning environment, but it needs books. Books to help captivate and inspire the eager minds of five year olds on the brink of reading for the first time.

About my class
