I have a group of 25 5th grade students. We are a Title I school in Virginia. I have several special needs children in my inclusion class. The students are hard workers and I frequently move them around the room to keep them engaged. I love to work with small groups on the floor. My students think it's great that I can get down on the floor with them and play games and read books. It would be very hard for me to sit in a small plastic chair all day. I am sad that my students' second choice of seating is a cold tile floor. Each and every one of my students brings a smile to my face each day and they usually have a hug ready for me when they come and go. They are kind, loving, and caring toward one another and deserve the best.

About my class
