Our kindergarteners are an awesome group of 112 delightful, loving and excited little sponges who are ready to soak up every part of their day. But our children find ways to play on the playground that may not be safe. Our school is in an affluent area that serves approximately 700 students in a suburban public elementary school. We want to provide ALL our kindergarteners with new playground equipment that will engage them in appropriate social learning and sharing. They love riding bikes, climbing, balancing and playing with balls and these kindergarteners deserve the proper materials to learn and grow on the playground. However, the kindergarten yard is often over looked when it comes to funding.
