I'm asking for instruments and supplies to help my reach their full potential musically. Many of our students are using old instruments that are badly in need of repair. I'm requesting one Student Alto Saxophone, an Electronic Drum Kit, a Student Flute, a Clarinet, a variety of mouthpieces, cleaner and a CD-ROM Essentials of Music Theory. This project will allow my students to continue playing when their personal instruments are in the shop. Also, it will help with potential discipline issues because students can continue playing even when they don't have their own instrument. And lastly, it will help us continue to build our program by having instruments to test potential band members. We can even expand our ensembles (jazz band) with the instruments we have requested.
