I am in the process of designing a flexible seating classroom. This is where we get rid of the desk and chairs and give students an option. So I will be purchasing a variety of comfortable seating. I am confident this will be helpful especially with students who can work independently. The truth is, everyone doesn't learn the same and I need to keep the students that need me, close. A kidney table will allow me to work in smaller groups and be able to reach the students I am working with. This will help to improve my lower level readers.
