My students are children who are outgoing, self starters. Each one brings in a desire to work as a team to develop a professional news program for our daily school news. They have told me how much they love having the opportunity to be creative and work with technology that will let those creative juices flow. I am fortunate to be able to teach a class where all students find a niche. Some enjoy being the news editor, others like working with the broadcast equipment, and others enjoy being news anchors. The students are aware that this middle school class is an important stepping stone into the high school digital arts program and wish to explore more about news reporting and digital broadcast news.
