Most of my students come from a low social-economic background. Their parents do not have the financial ability to purchase technology that is crucial to advance their educational goals. As their teacher, I want to be able to provide them with as many tools as I possible can, so they are successful learners and productive members of our society. My students attend a Program Improvement school, which means it has not achieved it's academic goals set by the State and Federal government. Technology, specifically computers, opens another world in which students can learn through exploration and interaction. Our school is located in the San Fernando Valley in Southern California. California.
