The Ipads will enhance our student zen den! We are working hard to make our student zen den an environment that is calming and a step in a positive direction. We would like students who are waiting to see their counselors have the ability to begin some coping/calming strategies. Applications like Calm, Headspace and Happify on the Ipad will provide some initial therapy to support the student shifting their mindset from anxious, stressed and sad to positive, encouraged and motivated. We hope that then, these are applications the students may continue on their own!
