My students are energetic, caring, misunderstood kids. They are between the ages of 12-20 and span grades 6-12. Sand Springs is a small town outside of Tulsa, OK. This area serves low income students with 85% on free and reduced lunch and 35% homeless. My students attend an alternative middle/high school due to mental health, social issues, medical issues and family issues. However, my students love learning new information and gaining new experiences. I teach them in Reading, all sciences, Research and Technology.
