I teach at a small 2-school district in a rural area in Northern California. Our school values academics, but also play time and social skills. I feel very lucky to have inquisitive students who come to school ready to learn. Because of our rural location, it is my goal to expose my students to diverse stories and art, while honoring their traditions such as hunting, fishing and other outdoor activities.
