My school services three high schools within one county in Mississippi. My 10th-12th grade students are the most incredible group of aspiring teachers you will ever meet. They are diverse and are a hard-working group. They come to class prepared to learn how to one day become the best future teachers they can possibly be. Many of them volunteer on the weekend and/or work part-time jobs. They look forward to their clinical experience each week where they go into elementary classrooms to job shadow teachers and help "teach" these students. We are working to "grow our own" teachers in this classroom and are always looking for ways to improve.
