My students are very energetic. They have great ideas, though they do not all have the family support they need to learn appropriate boundaries. They live in New York City, and attend a school that serves to teach respectful boundaries while stressing academic excellence. My students love to move, and the movement-based opportunities provided by the school help them focus better both in and out of the classroom. Many of my students are English Language Learners working to improve both written and verbal language skills.
