I am the librarian for a public school in Mississippi. Our student body consists of students in K-3rd grade. We have a wide range of students from all socio-economic backgrounds. Our administration firmly believes that the faculty has a responsibility to meet each student at his or her need. This philosophy poses challenges for the faculty but it also creates an atmosphere of security and acceptance for our students. The halls in our school are bright displays of ever changing student work. The students' work and education is at the forefront of everything. Our students are expected to work hard but our school also has a joyful, loving atmosphere.
