My students are 7th graders who have elected to participate in a "Go Green" enrichment class; they will study ways to become environmentalists. They are curious about how to conserve and preserve in our daily lives. Our school is located in a low socioeconomic area in Michigan. We are the only school in our district to have a greenhouse. We are in the process of getting repairs done through community volunteers. The school budget does not allow for monies to be spent on supplies for this class.
