My students come from neighborhoods where the majority of their families have never ventured outside of our town. Our school is highly populated and serves over 50 percent free/reduced breakfast and lunch. My students are excited about knowledge and eager to learn. Many of them were not interested in reading, but as the year has progressed, they have learned to LOVE reading! I'd like to continue to help them build their passion for reading!
