As a school counselor, many of my weekly lessons are based on social emotional learning concepts introduced by children's story books in a way students can relate to them. It's amazing how books can provide insight to these important concepts. The books and activities, I've requested, will help students build resilience, promote kindness, and empower students toward gaining whole wellness. Mindfulness is one of the most valuable skills I've taught to students. It will be wonderful to start and end each practice with the vibratone. I've also included a mindfulness game when working with small groups or one-on-one.
