When I asked my students about their experiences with technology at home I was not surprised. Many of my students do not have access to a computer in their household. My students are all very loving, sweet boys and girls, but are not exposed to technology because their families simply cannot afford a computer or Internet access. Sadly, my district does not have the funds to put computers in our classrooms specifically for student use. I would like to introduce my students to a computer within my classroom and give them a chance to explore their learning in a different medium, as well as learn necessary computer literacy skills.
