Our school has a very diverse population. It is located near the ocean front as well as in a military neighborhood. We provide education services to Pre-K through fifth grade students. We also provide education to deaf and hearing impaired students from the entire school district. Our school enrollment is approximately 440 students with half of them qualifying for free or reduced breakfast and lunch. I teach in a third grade inclusion classroom. A large number of the students in my classroom do not have reading materials that they can access at home.
