My students attend high school in Las Vegas. The school is large, urban and about 20 minutes north of the Las Vegas Strip. They face many challenges, but continue to meet the expectations of a growing, yet struggling community. Many of my students have hopes of becoming lawyers or leaders in their communities, and are in a program that will prepare them for this.
