As a enthusiastic reader myself, I want my students to have a print rich library to visit in the classroom. These books will allow students to have choices. They will be able to choose a book that interests them and is on their independent reading level. Hopefully, they will learn to appreciate how books can show them the world. Having several copies of the same book allows for rich, in depth, academic conversations to take place in the classroom. Students will be able to discuss their ideas and thoughts on the book. They will also be able to strengthen their reading skills and comprehension through small group activities.
