We are part of a Title I school that emphasizes learning through the workshop model. Our contemporary classroom is comprised of five, six and seven year old children who live in an interurban community in Washington State. The diverse background of this group and enthusiasm for school makes for a wonderful space for learning. We are a silly bunch but also focused and excited about reading! The students cannot wait to begin reading groups and I know they will thrive in the cooperative learning community we have been building.

About my class
