My students are ambitious and eager to learn. In our classroom, we have a math lab of critical thinking puzzles and games that push students of all levels. We promote and practice turning our thinking into written pieces that test our understanding and enable others to hear and see that there can be more than one way to reach the same solution. Students at our school come from many different backgrounds and have a variety of life experiences. In our classroom, we have built a community of learners that are willing to make mistakes by trying and also learning from others.
