A mask helps protect our students and staff from transmitting or being overly exposed to the virus, but there are times when they will need to remove their masks. Since Covid-19 is an airborne disease, I know cleaning the air is the best way to protect students who chose face-to-face instruction. There is one moment where students will need to remove their masks, and that is when they are eating. A coworker is building "Cubby" sneeze guards for the lunch tables that will also be used in some of the classrooms where social distancing is difficult at other times throughout the day. The three Wagner Switzerland Air Purifiers can clean up to 1500 square feet of air together while students eat allowing the students and teachers to breathe more easily.
