My students are a diverse group both ethnically and academically. I have readers who range from knowing almost no alphabet sounds to those who read well above grade level. Individualizing my teaching to meet these many needs is a challenge. We struggle to have enough computer/chromebook time in our school which we use to improve reading skills. Our school has bought licenses for the Lexia program which leveled so each student is assigned lessons specific to their needs.
