My students are a fantastic group of kids from various economic backgrounds. A lot of them are high achieving but they need the right types of challenges to keep them interested and engaged in their classwork. Many of my students are bored in the typical classroom- been there, done that! I want to challenge and inspire them because that's what they are craving. My students need new and exciting books to grab their attention and drive them into deep, thoughtful discussion. I know that if I bring it to them, they will eat it up.
