These items will help to motivate my students who have been identified as being at-risk for not achieving benchmark standards in reading and math. Having whiteboards and markers to demonstrate their learning in real time small groups helps to give immediate feedback of the progress they are making. The incorporation of motivator charts and stickers will help my students keep track of their progress toward achieving their academic and behavior goals every day. Having tangible rewards will help students be extrinsically motivated to accomplish goals that will bring these students closer to achieving their grade level benchmarks.
