Students will be given scripts that will be purchased through Teachers pay Teachers on or close to their reading level to perform. They will be able to practice with their classmates as well as at home. The will be taught how to read fluently and to understand the emotions that the characters might express. They will be able to use instruments to add sound effects to the performance. There will be a performance for buddy classes. If we're able to have visitors, parents will also be invited to see the performance if not we hope to have the ability to record and share with them via email. The goal is for students to engage in fluent reading with expression.
