My students are in 2nd grade. They are mostly from low income families. Over 80% of the students qualify for free/reduced lunches. My students attend a school with preschool through sixth grade. My students mostly learn by doing hands-on activities. This would give them the opportunity to learn about the life cycle of a butterfly as each student would have their own butterfly to observe.
