My students are, to put it succinctly, awesome. They come to school everyday with a willingness to learn and with so much to share. It is always great to be teaching my lesson only to stop to answer their multitude of interesting questions. My students are motivated learners and will go out of their way to seek knowledge. They are always coming to class with an interesting fact they learned that they can't wait to share with me. Even on my most challenging of days, I can count on my students to brighten things up. I am lucky to be teaching in an amazing school with involved parents, great coworkers, and a safe atmosphere. Unfortunately though, teaching in a Title 1 school means a constant lack of funding. As a result, finding materials is a struggle and technology is limited. As a science teacher, I try to plan fun and engaging activities but sometimes find it hard to get all of the students in my small classroom to get a good look at pictures, notes, or demonstrations.
