As a classroom teacher, I gain so much joy in seeing my children flourish. Although we have resources within our school building, I believe that your donation could be an integral part of the learning environment for my students. Most of my students come from a rural town with a low socioeconomic status. This does not limit their abilities because they are extremely bright students, but often the lack of student resources can make it difficult to provide the readiness that they will need to compete in a global society. As their teacher, I want to bridge the gap between what they do not have and what they should have in their learning process. These Samsung Galaxy devices will give my students a boost towards enhancing student achievement while integrating technology into the daily curriculum. Being able to reach all learners is a passion of mine. By donating to my project, you will help reach the kinesthetic learner who will now be able to walk around the classroom and scan QR Codes while learning about the title and author of a book. You will help the visual learner who can see a video about shapes around the world and draw a connection to the already present curriculum being taught. You will help the auditory learner who may struggle with sentence structure, but can now listen to a book being read to them online. One my goals as an educator is to foster a love of learning in each and every child. Your contributions will certainly support this goal. My students and I thank you for your consideration.
