Students will be able to learn how to tune their own instruments. Instead of waiting for me to tune the instruments, and them sharing tuners, this project would fund a tuner for each student. Students will get to learn the valuable skill of tuning their instruments. Right now we only have about 10 tuners that kids have to share. Which means I have to wipe them down in between kids using them. Which is very time consuming. The other option is that I have to go around and tune all the instruments which takes a lot of class time. If each student had access to their own tuner we could be done tuning our instruments in under 5 minutes. That is a huge time saver. And, also it is more sanitary while we are still taking precautions due to COVID.
