I teach reading in Boston Public schools. This is many of my students first experience in school because many of my families are new to the country. All of my students are learning basic reading skills and we are in need of materials to help them learn how to read and write, and even speak in different languages. Most my student's families come from many different countries within South and Central America and most are learning English as a second language, which takes lots of practice! My students love coming to school and absolutely love reading books! I am constantly looking for ways to engage my students in our hard work and I hope you can help us fund new materials for our classroom!
