My students are bright, creative, curious, and active. We are in a neighborhood school in a large urban district. The families often struggle financially and try hard to help their students. My students learn best when they feel like they are important and respected. I like establishing a connection with each student. I believe to be able to learn, the student has to know they are cared about. I want my students to be as comfortable as possible and to have an inviting learning environment.
