In order for students to learn, I must set an atmosphere of calmness which helps my students focus. Yoga is so calming to my AU students! I have used the Me Moves Yoga DVD at other schools and it helps my Au students relax and focus and prepare for a day of learning and exploring. What a great way to start our day!! Meeting the various needs of my 10 students is very important to me. Scholastic Readers present informational text to my students on their level. My students need visuals and activities they can manipulate themselves on the Smart Board and Scholastic Readers definitely meet those needs and more!

About my class
