Our students are 50% Hispanic, 30% African American and 20% Caucasian. We have a population of over 80% free or reduced lunch. We have the most respectful and responsible students, they take a great interest in their learning. Our school is built on the Adlerian philosophy where students come to school to learn not only about reading and math but they also learn about being respectful, responsible, responsive and resourceful. Those four principles are the keys to making our school run successfully. Students are given extra chances to become successful through counseling sessions to discuss ways to improve in both academics and in social situations.
