In a Blended Learning Classroom students divide their time between computer work, small group, and independent work. Having earbuds and headphones readily available while working on the computer, paper, and pencils to practice in a small group with the teacher and high-interest reading with Scholastic Action magazine will keep students interested and their curiosity peaked in learning. Being able to choose between earbuds or headphones while completing Istation assignments in reading and math skills improves student engagement. An abundant supply of paper and pencils to construct meaningful well-written sentences and eventually paragraphs during teacher led small group, targeting individual student needs. Scholastic Action Magazine is well received by middle school age readers.
