In my science class you'll see what learning should be. Students are collaborating, exploring, investigating, questioning and interacting with the concepts. You'll see students reaching their potential and having fun learning at the same time. We need some help to keep up this enriching learning environment. As a science (and sometimes math) class, there are many supplies that we are in need of. We are part of a large urban school district. The majority of the student population are ethnic minorities with more than 50% coming from ESL backgrounds. In addition, over 80% of the student body qualify for free or reduced lunch. There are many odds against us, but we refuse to settle to the standards that others have set for us. My classes are full of dedicated learners that will make a difference in their communities and families. They are bursting with greatness and you can have a part in helping it grow.
