As Norfolk Public Schools enters into a Hybrid Learning Model in the next few weeks, our Norview Dolphins need a safe way to quench their thirst during the instructional day. When in use, Norview Elementary has just three water fountains for well over five hundred students and staff. These water fountains will remain closed indefinitely. Our students need fresh water. Research indicates that students remember more and stay focused longer when they are hydrated. In fact, studies have found that that drinking water can improve brain function by fifteen percent. Because the brain has no way to store water, it is important to continually drink water throughout the day. Please help us keep them safe with Avalon Touch-less water coolers.
