My school is a rural Title I high school in Texas. It is a beautiful school which sits in the middle of a cornfield. Most of our students use district transportation, therefore I see many students with OFF periods in the library. These are good students of which many rarely travel outside of their hometown. They read of new up and coming technologies, but rarely have the opportunity to experience them. We have recently become a 1:1 campus and have seen great gains and interest expressed in pursuing technology. I have students beginning to ask for books on programming languages, which thrills me! I would like to take my students' curiosity to a different level through a collaborative and creative means, the Spheros.
