I have 30 Art II, Art III students who love to experiment with new types of media. I have these same students everyday for 55 minutes a day for the entire school year. I know them very well because I taught them last year in Art I and Art II. They love the mosaics I have created and they often ask if they can make them too however there is not enough money in the school art budget for mosaic supplies. The school budget is only enough to provide the basic supplies for my Art I, II, III, IV, 180 students. I have many talented students who are more than eager to get started. Last year I was able to purchase some stain glass but there was not enough money to purchase canvas or resin. My students have been waiting a year to create these mosaics. I hope we can get funded because the students would be delighted!
